We had an amazing time at our annual Piesgiving event! On Saturday, November 23rd, we handed-out 875 family-sized apple pies across three locations: Ballantyne, Lake Norman, and Indian Land, SC. This year was extra special as it marked our first time hosting the event at 3 locations. Piesgiving is our way of giving thanks to our clients, and connecting with our community. Plus, there’s no better time to get an apple pie than the week before Thanksgiving!
On the Friday before Piesgiving, we had a team of four at Costco to pick up the pies. With a combination of 2 Premier Team box trucks, a fork lift, and 9 pallets of pies, we successfully distributed all the pies to their event locations.
This year, we wanted Piesgiving to feel like a fall festival, and we think it did just that! At Ballantyne, kids had a blast jumping in a bouncy house, getting their face painted, and enjoying cotton candy and snow cones. At Lake Norman, a balloon artist created balloon dogs, and sweet treats were enjoyed among kids and adults.
