Laura Collins epitomizes hard work, dedication and creative service in every detail of your real estate transaction. She grew up in northern Vermont, went to the University of Virginia and was then off to New York City to use her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Theater. While there, she worked in the costume shop of the Julliard School and was a wardrobe and costume designer for off Broadway shows.
She puts that creative talent to work in her real estate career. Since achieving her North Carolina Broker license in 2002, she has worked in many aspects of the industry including Broker/REALTOR, staging homes, and as a closing coordinator.
Laura is dedicated to her family, husband Brian and son Parker, and her community. Since 1998 when she moved to Charlotte, Laura has spent multiple weeks each summer teaching teens about leadership, goal setting, people skills and group dynamics through Tomorrow’s America Foundation. She’s also active in her church and enjoys fitness. In the past, she has served as coxswain on the UVA Men’s crew team, completed the Marine Corp marathon, was a Girls on the Run coach, and is currently involved with FiA South Charlotte.
“Though I am high energy, I bring a calm solution-oriented approach to real estate transactions for my clients,” she said. “The greater Charlotte area has a dynamic mix of urban, suburban and rural areas. I enjoy the proximity to the Arts as well as seeing deer on my daily runs. Charlotte is a wonderful place to call home, raise a family and grow a career or business.”
